WOW    Amazing!!!

One question about the date in the album header, my dates are in the format YYYY-MM-DD will it show them like that or trim them to only show the year?

I'm guessing it will just show the full %date% tag

Some impressive panel splitter work here, but I prefer a more native look...

I modified mine (new buttons, wsh panel, some improvements)

Maybe i change playlist to EL Playlist in the near future, because NG Playlist has this annoying vertical scrollbar in long playlists.

That looks great as well as looking very functional to boot.

@Enigma776 & Strictly4me

Thanks

The left and the right sides are finished now.
But i still play around with the playlist view.
I think i can live with the scrollbar in NG Playlist, EL Playlist is too heavy to setup and not as comfortable to use.

NB: take care at the order of the panels in the main PSS, this new PSS has to be placed over the NGPlaylist panel.

Maybe i'm too dumb, but i tried it and it doesn't work.
I inserted a blank PSS in the main PSS, made the same background colour as the main PSS and placed it over the scrollbar part of NG playlist, but i can't get it to be on top of it

For the button i used:
Code: [Select]
$imagebutton($sub(%_width%,287),53,24,24,$get(imagepath)Scroll.png,$get(imagepath)ScrollMH.png,$if($isvisible_c(Stack),PANELSHOW:Stack:0;REFRESH,PANELSHOW:Stack:1;REFRESH),,)

Go to preferences > ColumnsUI > Layout, then right click on that blank PSS > Move Up

@bulhakov
It doesn't matter where i place the blank PSS. It seems that NG playlist is always on top...
In the main PSS i placed it above ng playlist and below, it never shows up.
Only if i hide ng playlist on startup, the blank pss appears. But what should i do with a foobar without a playlist?

Some progress with my ColumnsUI config:

[a href="http://img378.imageshack.us/my.php?image=teaser1ir2.png" target="_blank"] i see that you find my Curaçao mini-panel idea (playback stats, artist list ...) good

That's right, it's really useful, but I'm using Album List Panel and ColumnsUI's Filter instead of GBs.

Looks good!
What components have you used?
I see trackinfo_mod, graphical browser, playlist_dropdown and peakmeter_spectrum i think (and a lyrics panel off course).

I too love simplicity and have tried to make my config as light as possible (without playback statistics, last.fm, filters and so on), but it is bloated compared with yours
And i think mine is (finally) finished soon...

EDIT:
Here is an actual screenshot:

@tedgo:
you were right for the most of the components,
i used playlist dropdown, quicksearch, trackinfo mod, lyrics show mod (by t.p wang), elplaylist, graphical browser and you were wrong about the peakmeter spectrum, it's channel spectrum panel.
i find the last one much more lightweight than the peakmeter spectrum panel.

i have two mods of this layout, hopefully they will become a part of my Minimal CUI layout.

is that elplaylist on your screenshot? looking forward to lurk in the code when you finish the skin!
