Good Morning,

the problem is back with this version but only for the Edit Menu, all other menus including submenus are working without problems. The wrong submenus in the Edit menu all come from WinRAR as you can see from the second screen shot. Ocasionally there's also Equalizer shown behind Remove dead items.

Hi. Just wondering if it is possible to load preference/target curves in to RoomEQ?
I would like to try some that I have downloaded. I have them in both csv and txt format. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!
You cannot load target curves in .csv and .txt format. However, you have the following options:
- You can use the default "Bright" or "Neutral" target curves and edit them as you want.
- You can use B&K or Harman target curves and edit them as you want. See the question 1 at https://mathaudio.com/room-eq-faq.htm
- If you need a conventional EQ with a specific curve, you can load the https://mathaudio.com/simple_eq.snr preset and edit it as you want.
You can also use microphone calibration curves in .csv and .txt format.

No, ReFacets will not import your settings. You'd have to manually copy/paste the settings for each column and filter.

If you can continue without Dark Mode support like you do in 1.6, you can use the original foo_facets in 32bit v2. If you do move to ReFacets, you'd lose album art thumbnails.

Last post by freMea -
Hi,

I’m currently using 1.6.8. I’m using facets.

I’ve a lot of custom columns and filters.

When upgrading, will refacets try to import my facets settings ? If not, can I manually transfer those settings ?

So CUI panel developers basically need to implement something like this to get keyboard shortcuts processed.

Code: [Select]
	LRESULT on_message(HWND wnd, uint32_t msg, WPARAM wp, LPARAM lp) final
{
switch (msg)
{
case WM_SYSKEYDOWN:
case WM_KEYDOWN:
if (uie::window::g_process_keydown_keyboard_shortcuts(wp))
return 0;
// do your own stuff here if needed
break;
}
return DefWindowProcW(wnd, msg, wp, lp);
}

DUI handles this automatically, CUI does not...

What you see in the Properties dialog is not title formatting. While info displayed there is usually similar, the implementation is quite separate. It's a perfectly reasonable feature request to make though.

Go the View menu>Layout>Enable layout editing mode.
Now right click the playlist>Cut UI element.
Now right click on the tabs>Paste UI element.
Go back and turn layout editing off.

You can use the Playlist Manager from the view menu or go back and edit the layout by adding the Playlist Manager side by side with the playlist. But again you would need to cut the playlist view. With a completely blank space there, click and add a vertical splitter. Paste the playlist on the left or right -  your preference. Now click on the other blank space and select Playlist Manager from the list.

General - (fb2k) / Playlist Tabs questions
Last post by NW Dreamer -
Hi, I've been using FB2k for many years generally playing playlists in the background while I work.

Background:  I'm a LONG time IT guy (over 50 years), who has over380,000 songs in Media Monkey which I only use to organize everything and manage iPods with.  I use a Library Search in FB2k to make playlists that I sort by Artist, Date, Album, etc.  Then I use File > Load Playlist... whenever I want to listen to a different playlist.

Anyway, the closest layout I can find to what I really need is Simple Playlist + Tabs.  However, after using this for a long time, the Tabs area at the top of the layout had become almost as large as the rest of the player with dozens of duplicate playlist names in it!  For me, this is a complete waste.  While trying to fix this I found that I was running v1.6.4 and v2.1.2 is now out.  After installing, I reset my layout and returned to trying to fix the look.

So, here are my questions:

  • Is there a way to just have the Simple Playlist without Tabs?
  • Or, is there a way to not have duplicates in the Tabs?  (Sorted alphabetically would be nice too.)

Thank you!

Craig B.
