WMV to WMA

It is possible to take a WMV file and cut the audio stream out to make a WMA file?

Also, using ASFTools I have converted a WMV to a WAV (which keeps the WMA codec) but then Winamp tells me "This file requires DivX ACM Coded to be installed". Any ideas?

The Windows Media Stream Editor from Microsoft will demux and mux WMA with WMV.
