Title: foobar2000 Mac v2.2.6 - Unable To Add Files
Post by: NateHigs on 2020-08-01 15:28:34
MacOS 10.15.6 (19G73)
foobar2000 v2.2.6 - new installation
APFS drives
some files have unusual file names (Russian characters, unicode etc.)
total number of folders = 3153 (I don't know how many files but 10x would be realistic)

When dragging my library folder into the main foobar2000 window, I am presented with the "Scanning Media" dialog box. It appears to run through all files, but never disappears nor adds files to the playlist.

I should add, that I can add smaller numbers of files.

Ok, added half my library, and although foobar stopped responding, after about 30 minutes it did add the files. The confusing thing is that this happens at the end of the indexing process.
