Circular artist images

I'm looking for a way to have an artist image display as a circular cutout but with a transparent background.
Basically like this:



But the black background is transparent.

The current example is achieved using panel stack to equalize width and height aspect ratio so it's a square image, centralizing it and using a png overlay image with a transparent hole placed on top of it. But since my CUI layout has a changing background depending on what is played it would be nice to not have it on a black panel overlaying the background art.
