Audioidentifier

Alright I recently switched to Ubuntu and I'm looking for a program like  Audio Identifier "http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Audio_Identifier.htm"for linux. I really need to find a way to see codecs and lame strings. Thanks! Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask.

Have you tried running Mr. Questionman in Wine?

No I have not. But I will look into this. I'm still fairly new to linux. But it looks like a program that would help me out extremely! Thanks. Will report back in a few days. If there are any other suggestions please do post!
