¿How to make a Fading on Stop, Next, Back?

Hi, I would like to know how to make a Fading out when I press the Stop button. My idea is by making a loop to decrease the volume to 0 in steps of 0,5% in 0,5 seconds for example. Then stop the track and restore the inital volume. Could it be possible? I think it's a good solution for those who are using the ASIO output. Thanks.
