Click / Pop when using Apple Audio Unit Adaptor

Mac Studio Apple M2 Max

Using FabFilter Pro-Q 3 via Apple Audio Unit Adaptor (other plugins in pic)

Hearing a click or pop in the first second or so in every track. Buffer length does not affect it

Happy to help further diagnose.

I replicated your DSP chain and I don't get any click or pop. I'm using a Fiio KA13 dongle.

Try using another output device and see if you get the same. May be specific to that device. If so, see if there is a firmware update for it that may fix the problem.

Other thing to try is remove everything except the fabfilter plugin.

Using a MOTU 24AI over ethernet. No other audio app introduces pop or clicks.

I'll try your suggestion and report back.
