Those of you who have been aware of the development of FLAC all these years, please tell me if there are any significant changes between versions 1.3.4 and 1.4.3? I ask because the amazing FSLAC lossy encoder by @C.R.Helmrich that works like LossyWAV is still based on version 1.3.4, and I'm worried.

It is possible that the new CPU usage optimizations don't play nicely with very low output buffer sizes combined with CPU-heavy DSP. The next update will address this.

For now, please try increasing output buffer size in Preferences / Playback / Output.

Temporarily I shifted to the stable version and I always set device buffer at 50ms. My DSPs are CPU heavy (Fabfilter Pro MB and Pro L2).

Source: 192 kHz. What is the proper way to setup Replaygain to get true peaks here? I am confused.

Checking both “Downsample high definition content” and “True peak scan with SoX upsample x4” seems contradicting: 192000->44100->176000. And if I use “True peak scan” alone, then what? 192000×4 (768000) sounds like nonsense.

In foo_dsp_effect / IIR Filter / High-shelf filter, I believe you enter the "full gain" as below:

1) math calculation: F = 5811.52 Hz, Gain = -10.46 dB, Q = 0.500

2) simulation results: F = 5780 Hz, Gain = -10.4 dB, Q = 0.500
