Please be aware that much of the software linked to or mentioned on this forum is niche and therefore infrequently downloaded. Lots of anti-virus scanners and so-called malware detectors like to flag infrequently downloaded software as bad until it is either downloaded enough times, or its developer actually bothers with getting each individual release allow listed by every single AV vendor. You can do many people a great favor when encountering such a "problem" example by submitting them to your AV vendor for examination. For almost everything on this forum, it is a false positive.

Last post by MordredKLB -In the datagrid "Date" is the date of that release (the "release-event" in musicbrainz terms). When you select a row, what will be written to the tags for %date% is again the date of that specific release, and %original release date% is the earliest release event for any release in that musicbrainz release group.It already is though:%date% should be the original date, is it?
No need to go as extreme as the ID3 standard, which was written so as to put the recording date in those tags (that is information often not even available anymore).
The datagrid needs to be sorted that way otherwise (in the example of the first Black Sabbath album) you'd have 30 releases all with a date of 1970 and no way to easily tell which was the 2016 Warner remaster. I'm going to add an option to always write "original release date" into the %date% field though as lots of people probably want that and don't want to copy/paste the fields manually.

P.S. Just because a speaker or microphone has a linear frequency response doesn't mean that the sound is comfortable to listen to and that can affect sound sculpturing decisions.

Support - (fb2k) / Re: Information modals have the wrong positions
Last post by MLP51 -I see you made a change in 1.5.1 beta 1. Although the positions are no longer retained when moving the dialogs, the "optimizing file" dialog still opens up in the upper left instead of roughly the center (where the other ones open).

Exactly it is! But I read there, it is fixed, while it is not fixed.
Strange, because I moved from version 1.4.x direct into that fresh new and all is working in old instance (I checked it now).
I must say, also by importing playlists and files it is in upper left corner (as in my picture above).

Last post by Porcus -(ALBUMVERSION because I have seen VERSION being already populated with a particular version of a track, like "remixed by ..." - not from that particular vendor though, it could have been just what some artist put there themselves. Oh, and I also strip "CD1" etc from all album titles.)
