Overriding CueTools to do a repair?

I am trying to rip a used copy of Joe Versus the Volcano.  EAC and CueRipper both show the same CRC for track 2 but it's not a match in AccurateRip.  In CTDB it's 4/32 match and I'm pretty sure 2 of those are me (one for EAC and one for CueRipper).

There is an audible glitch near the beginning of the track.  What I'd like to do is use CueTools to patch the bad spot but I suspect that because there's a 4/32 match it doesn't think there is anything to repair and nothing happens.  Is there some way to force it to use the 32/32 entry that probably exists?

No 32/32 CTDBID entry exists (04+28=32)

[a93f1439] (28/32) No match
"No match" means that your rip does not have enough matching samples to use the recovery record associated with CTDBID [a93f1439]
If there were enough matching samples to use the recovery record, it would say "Differs in xxx samples" indicating how many samples don't match.

Ah.  So there's nothing I can do except maybe return the disc.  I wonder if "Can't rip track 2" is a valid reason for a return...

Thanks.

It would probably depend on the disc condition in the listing. If it's VG, VG+ or NM, then you should probably be able to return it. G+ and below generally come with the assumption of some level of damage to the disc.

Best shot at ripping a bad CD, is to try a different drive.
Not necessarily a more expensive, but one from a different brand.

Rather than messing with it anymore I downloaded the non Big Woo version of the album from HDTracks.com.  It was only $11 and track 2 in the download replaced the bad track 2 rip.  It was easier than fighting with the exchange process.

As for ripping in another drive... I don't have another computer with an optical drive in it and the fact that EAC/CueRipper kept coming up with the same Test/Rip CRC values makes me think it wouldn't help anyway.  There were no errors reading the track but what was ripped had that glitch in it..
