Defalt playlist for files opened in explorer?

Whenever I open audio files from a folder in explorer(select all > Enter) Foobar will automagically replace the contents of the last playlist I had open, or just the current playlist I have open. Usually I'll catch it and ctrl z reclaiming my old playlist, but not always. I've permanently lost many top quality playlists that took a long time to create. Often It is the best ones as they are open more frequently.

Is there a way to set a default playlist for foobar to place files that have been opened externally in?
Or  any other solution?

I'm to the point where I'm seriously considering switching back to winamp.

look at file>preferences>shell integration. from there you set a default playlist. additionally, you can set it to enqueue new items rather than overwrite the current playlist.
