I have an iRiver T10 512MB.

+For me, it sounded better than iPod.
+Batterie are lasts for about 60h
+AA Batteries
+Almost indestructible (Mine was swiming in the sea, and was washed in a washing machine).

Ive got a Samsung YP-T10 - plays MP3, WMA, AAC and OGG and has a bluetooth adapter built in

And it's sound is just awesome...
