LaTeX / MathJax and monospace font

Hello, just a quick question / suggestion:

Can we have monospaced font for the editor when in source mode? Displaying the editor with proportional font for the rendered output is fine, but I'd love to use a monospaced font for the source view, when writing a message.

And could we have LaTeX math rendering with MathJax or KaTeX? KaTeX can't understand too much of the LaTeX math mode, but is more minimal but also quite fast. MathJax is more fully featured, but much larger and also much slower.

Both can be used over CDN.
