Access to mobile playlists [android]

I saw a few questions related to this here. The problem seems to be that the internal playlists are stored along with fb2k's other settings in a file location you'd need root access to. It would be nice to be able to export them somehow to a readable location and suitable format.

If adding export of the internal playlists is too complicated, would it be possible to have a setting where they are simply stored in the user-assigned playlist folder? (Of course this wouldn't be so useful though if they are not in some readable format like .pls or .m3u)

It would actually help a lot if one might "add/edit" also the playlists in this playlist folder.

The way it is now there is no way to curate your internally created playlists (I guess unless you root your phone or something).

Or ... does anyone have some trick to access the internal playlists?

This is something that interests me as well.
Would be awesome if you could get access to the internal playlists. Especially since you can not add/edit playlists in the android app when they were created on Foobar for Windows.

Hello,
Now while discussing playlists I'll add my non standard use case.
I am using a server side application called tvheadend to tune to DVB and IP TV television and radio channels.
Since I'm blind I don't need the video part of those broadcasts and tvheadend has an ability to configure so called stream profiles. I can even configure on the fly transcoding if I wish.
Tvheadend generates http urls that are pointing to the individual streams and channels are identified by their UUID and stream profiles are identified by the profile names. It then allows exporting this as an m3u8 file.
When opening such m3u8 playlist file in foobar 2000 on android, the only thing that's presented in the UI are stream URLs. Thus playlist metadata such as stream titles are not parsed from an M3U8 file.
By some trial and error I have found out that stream titles are presented if I convert the M3U8 into a pls file format.
So now I do have a file called tv.pls in my foobar 2000 music folder. If I open that file Foobar 2000 mobile is presenting all the stream titles as a list.
What I would like is that instead of external file I would prefer having a designated playlist called TV channels under playlists rather than a .pls file in my music folder.
If I choose all the streams, send these into another playlist the titles are lost in the process meaning there is no way to create the list of streams with the titles in foobar 2000 mobile playlist.

So perhaps for some of you this would be acceptable workaround having a .pls or an .m3u file in your music library folder.

Greetings

Peter

I have a similar question. Do someone know the path where the internal playlists getting stored? (foobar 2000 mobile for Android 1.6.6)
Or, like you said, it would be great to get the external m3u/pls-playlist accessable.

This problem/question was discussed here as well.
