What is Best AAC Kbs

looking to encode in foobar2000 apple AAC just want the best Harmonic sounding Music Re-tuned to 432 don't care about size just Quality without a large Drum Smack or muffled Speech with good but not Mindless Bass with all Mids and the Best They can be

Try  -v 320   if size is no concern.

Dont care about size: flac/alac.
If the musical content is very harmonic, then the resulting file will be around 600kbps anyway. not even double 320.

Otherwise the best lossy bitrate is always the LOWEST you can tolerate. Try 200 and work your way down. You have to accept that there may be outliers at any bitrate you choose where the bitrate doesnt suffice. Thats the lossy life.
And so, with digital, computer was put into place, and all the IT that came with it.

I use qaac 2..82 at cvbr 256 kbps with low pass filter at 20 KHz before convert, for me is the sweet spot.

256/288 vbr works for me. if can not hear highs well lower bits will do.  happy using quaac vbr
