Embedded Covers for Compilation Albums not showing correctly

Most of my covers are stored as folder.jpg in the folder together with the music files and all is as it should be here.

But I do have a few self-assembled mixed albums where each music file has it's own cover, which is embeded in the music files.
On these albums fb2k mobile will pick just any of the embedded covers at random and show this for all titles, thus ignoring all of the other covers in the files.

I haven't found any setting I could tweak to resolve this. Any suggestions? Or is this a bug? Thanks.

Come on, guys.
I can‘t be alone with this issue. And I‘ve found an unresolved post from 2022 addressing exactly this.

I‘m a big fan of fb2000, both on PC snd mobile. So it is quite underwhelming to have to live with a bug which is so elemental.

Right now, image caching assumes that files in the same album have the same cover and doesn't bother examining tags for changes.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.
