Out of curiousity - how are the above two stored?

I passed the question to XMPlay's forums, and one of the regulars, Rah'Dick had the answer:

These are stored in the file "xmplay.library". How? By simple fileIO write actions, I guess.

Hi!
I'm trying XMPlay right now for the first time, and liking it quite a lot!
I just wish there was a way to change library's layout, in a way similar to Winamp's (3 panels: Artist - Album - Track): is it possible?

Thanks a lot in advance

Yes, it is. Just right-click any of the columns' headers, and you can choose the desired columns.

Thanks    But maybe you have never seen Winamp library's layout... there's a panel on the left with a list of the artists, another one on the right with the albums and the tracks' one below the two. And they change their contents according to your selections of artist and/or album. And that's very nice when you have a lot of records, instead of a simple mega-playlist like XMPlay's...

This is definitely a great player to be carried on the usb pen nevertheless!

Oh ok, didn't know about that. Well, I can pass your suggestion to XMPlay's forums and see if it catches fire.

Remember, that you can always go and suggest stuff yourself there - the author, and the forums in general, are very responsive .

Yep, an update is up on the XMPlay page. Basically just an accumulation of the little changes made since the initial 3.3 release, but also with the addition of uber-fast skin loading, even big skins like iXMPlay should load pretty much instantly.
