Kernel Streaming help.

It seems that there are certain tracks which Kernel Streaming (foo_out_ks) throws up an error, unable to open device, and won't play them. It only happens on certain tracks. They are standard mp3s which play fine on any media player and plays fine when using Direct Sound, just Kernel Streaming has a problem with them. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks.

a) mono file
b) unsupported samplerate (e.g. too low: 22 kHz, etc.)
