3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: External Tags
Last post by gadgetogogo -I have a use case that is probably uncommon and unsupported, but thought I'd ask in case I'm missing something. I am trying to use external tags to work on tagging when I'm away from home. At home, I created external tags for all tracks in my library (a folder on my PC that is included in the media library) on my portable foobar installation on a USB key. When I'm on another computer without access to the library, I can still see those tracks in my autoplaylist, but I cannot change their metadata. This is obviously expected for the internal tags, but I was hoping the external tags could be edited, considering the external tag database is on the USB key.
The idea would be to commit the changes made when I'm away to the internal tags next time I'm at home, when the files are accessible again. Is this possible with external tags or not at all ? I am using the SQLite database, if that matters.
Thanks in advance !

Last post by IgorKon -I need to store information about the tanda as a tag for it as a playlist. For example, it is important for me to know where I played a particular tanda.

Last post by Wombat -It'll be interesting to see how APX (the biggest thing being doubled registers) improves things. Probably ~10% (pure speculation) in general but every workload will be different.GCC 14.1 compiler was released today with some APX support. Msys2 for windows has not updated yet but some linux enthusiasts may help out.

Last post by Kamedo2 -Nice to see Vorbis being tested and yielding quite impressive results in the ~128kps range. Is there any particular reason why you chose Vorbis in this test?
Because it hasn't been tested for some years.

Last post by TF3RDL -Not interested in output that have number of distinct bars less than pixel width of image/frame.Yeah, but it doesn't mean right a "low detail mode" switch that when enabled, avoids drawing more lines if the distance between these two are in subpixel level (e.g. on higher frequencies in logarithmic frequency scale) and when disabled, it draws all FFT bins within specified frequency range right?
