@Kraeved Now i tried GXLame and Helix but they did not give ~12kbps. GXLame gave ~16kbps and helix gave ~20kbps + helix gave 22050Hz. MP3ENC looks like not free and looks like it's payment system is down. What can i do?

Commands:
hmp3.exe -V12 hmp3.wav hmp3.v12.mp3
gxlame-t5.3.exe -b 12 -h gxl.wav gxl.mp3

I have to use a VPN for privacy / security  reasons -- banking, crypto security .

What better way to harvest information as a man in the middle than set up a "VPN" and make it free to use?!

IMO there is no need for a VPN if the people you are dealing with take their security seriously – I mean, everyone uses HTTPS for anything critical, don't they?  The security reason to use VPN went away with HTTP... and what's left is if you want to conceal your own IP address for nefarious reasons.

I just tried several servers/locations from my VPN service of choice (which even has a limited free tier offering), and none of them HA had issue with.

You might want to stop using fully free VPN services anyway, especially since you mentioned "privacy / security  reasons -- banking, crypto security" (lol).

Nice idea to try clang. Last time i tried with hmp3 it was clearly slower as gcc.
I have a feeling there is some different thing at play. Maybe something hardware or even simply driver related.
@KevinB52379 has an 8 core Zen 3 5700G that does 600-1000x speed multi-threaded while my 12 core Zen 3 does ~3100x speed with the win32 binary by Case encoding mp3s from flac.

Edit: Clang version eaches ~4200x speed stdin/stdout

Does pseudo transparency work in SMP? It never seems to work for me. For example, I can make ESLyrics display the lyrics over top of DarkOne's artwork script, but it doesn't refresh properly and the lyrics are showing a strange 'double image' effect. There's no difference when having SMP's pseudo transparency checked or not.

Now if I do the same thing using a Panel Stack Splitter, ESLyrics and the DarkOne artwork script combo works fine.
