Creating simple foobar2000 plugin for total beginner

Hi.
I have an idea for simple useful plugin.
With it user could select one track from playlist after which playback would stop. When that song begins to play "Stop after current" function would turn on.
There is a plugin called "Playlist Attributes" which does that but there are a lot of aspects of that plugin which I don't like and that plugin has much more features which I don't need.
Is there a tutorial for complete beginner assuming I don't know anything?

I would like to support the OP here and ask if there is a foobar2000 SDK getting started?

The SDK comes with a sample project that is more than enough to get started.

OK, thanks. I'll take a look at the sample project.
