Not sure if it has been mentioned before... clicking Reset in the configuration panel crashes.
Some settings are reset when restarting again, but not all.
Tested in both 32/64 bit with the latest fb2k preview and component versions.

If I experience it again I will let you know.

It happened (frequently) on a system install of the previous 2.1 preview release, but I haven't seen it happen in the portable installation. It could entirely be due to something to do with this laptop.

Alright  :)

I've just noticed I missed this quote.

...
Another thing I noticed and I thought maybe EsPlaylist is at fault, but when clicking a saved bookmark, to play it, sometimes the track the bookmark is tied to will come into view in the playlist and be highlighted and play. And other times the bookmarked track will play but not come into view in the playlist, and not be highlighted. And if I scroll up or down in the playlist looking for the playing track; I have to go by title to locate it.
...

It could be a bug.
Maybe enabling the playlist column might help troubleshooting,
so it can be discarded that the track was queued due to an unmatched playlist.

I also like the idea of being able to return to a playlist and play audio tracks from it without it disturbing the bookmark that has been previously set in Vital Bookmarks.
...

'Pause bookmarking' will be included as an assignable shortcut action in future releases. Would that be ok to solve that issue?

Sorry, there is no issue there with Vital Bookmarks. I was just stating that I liked that an already saved bookmark wasn't affected by later playing tracks from the playlist. Nothing for you to do there - it isn't broken.

Below is a screenshot of a right-click context menu of an audio file in EsPlaylist. I do not see Vital Bookmarks listed (Is it supposed to be?)
...

Does it show right-clicking the currently playing track? I need to install EsPlaylist and have a look when I find some time.  ???

No, it does not show when right-clicking the currently playing track in EsPlaylist. But I just checked, and it does show when right-clicking the currently playing track in JS Playlist.

It has been twelve years since EsPlaylist recieved any updates. Probably not worth your effort to install it unless you just want to. It is old but still very nice.

Is it necessary that an audio file first be in the state of having been clicked on and at least started before that audio file can be listed as a bookmark?
...

Currently, it is, yes. Although next releases will probably enable bookmarking tracks arbitrarily, regardless of their playback state. Maybe just drag and drop initially, not sure about it.

Just to note that an old predecessor component (foo_uie_bookmarks) does allow bookmarking tracks that have only been selected, and are not in an active playing state.
