iOS playback stops a few seconds before the end of file

I encountered an issue with foobar2000 IOS. Playback occasionally stops a few seconds before the end of the track, and skips to the next track (if any). The following error pops up for a moment:

“Playback error: iTunes media access error On “<iPod library item>”

I get the problem every time I try to play a particular track. Only happens with foobar2000 (v1.2), the default media player is not affected.
