Title: First Speex binaries for Win32
Post by: rjamorim on 2002-08-22 17:02:36
John33 just compiled Win32 binaries of Speex (http://speex.sourceforge.net), an open-source and patent-free voice coder complementary to the Vorbis project.

The files (ICL compiled) are available at RareWares (http://www.inf.ufpr.br/~rja00/), <others> section. Source modifications are available there as well.

Obs: These files are supposed to be used for testing only - the bitstream format isn't frozen yet, so it's not suitable for archiving.

I already had the same idea, I´ll ask Tobias when the Speex-Bitstream has been fixed. ATM he is working on Therora and Icecast/shoutcast support and wants to release the next version soon.
