Syncing two installs of Foobar?

Hello Peeps

Does anybody know of a way to sync two proper installs of Foobar?  I use Foobar on my home pc and at work on my laptop and would like it if I change or add anything on either install to be reflected on the other.

OK so I've had a play with having a portable install stored in my one drive folder.... didn't work because some library files kept corrupting.  I did get it to work by copying the files out of the one drive folder before using it but that is pain remember to do that everytime.  Plus having it not properly installed means i don't get file associations and foobar remote wont work on my phone

Any ideas/help would be great

will.

Hi,

I've been using a portable version on an external USB drive since years, works well, except the file association.

Hi sanaa, unfortunately it seem to stop foobar remote working on my phone too which is a shame

I think the next thing to try is installing it normally and syncing the config folders... I'm hoping that will work.

I've tried that, too for some time, but I never had such problems. Which files were corrupted?
I'm late

one thing to be aware of when using a cloud sync program is to make sure foobar is only open on one machine at a time.

They were some sort of library file.

I've just tried it with only one instance running and it hasn't given my any errors or corrupted any files, I'm yet to try it on my home PC as I'm at work.  But fingers crossed it should be all good.
