Hi!
I'd like to know what burning software you recommend when it comes to burning mp3 files created with EAC(lame).
I tried Sony Cd extreme before, but bought a new computer and it doesn't support my new DVD writer.
Has anyone one got any other suggestion. Someone told me that a software that supports lame will do the best job.
Grateful for an answer.

U mean: burn audio cds from mp3s?
I very much like and recommend Feurio!.
That's right I mean, burning them as audio cds.

No.
Unless LAME has quality advantages when decoding, which I doubt it: there should be no differences between decoders.
A lot of programs support LAME but don't use LAME to decode, like EAC or Feurio!
IMHO, for MP3 Feurio! is the best (if your drive is supported and you don't need RMS-normalization).
It's the only one I know that checks if the MP3 is corrupted, and its MP3 decoder is perfect.

Freeware solutions:

Burnatonce - http://www.burnatonce.com/ (http://www.burnatonce.com/)
Thanks for all your help. I just read the other thread here on this topic, but my dvd writer wasn't supported by feurio, so I guess my best option is to stick with Nero. Or what do you think?
Nille
nero is quite ok for burning audio cds. but don't use it's normalizing capabilities, that could sacrifice some quality.
use mp3gain to bring music volume to the same level und then use nero to burn the tracks. converting to wave will be done automatically when using the "audio cd" option in the nero wizard.
If you don't mind a commerical product, you won't find many problems with Nero.
You can use plug-ins to decode many different audio formats in Nero on the fly. Download them here:

I've done well with Feurio, one I would reco you consider.
I use Burnatonce, it's pretty cool and free
