What I get out of this is WAV files not flac files. What do I do wrong? Grateful for some good ideas and guidelines...[/quote]

Iam using EAC,
configured Compression options, external compression,
|x| use external program for compression
Parameter: User Define Encoder
file extension: .flac
Program for compression:C:\Programfiler\FLAC\FLAC.exe

Still I get only Wav-files....

Here's a great EAC guide, I found it very helpful when starting out myself:

Essential Ripping Guide for EAC (http://users.fulladsl.be/spb2267/)

As for using flac with EAC, check out this Hydrogenaudio Wiki page:

Make sure you click on the "MP3" button in EAC ... (not the "WAV" button)

Do you extract/rip to compressed files or uncompressed? When you have an audio CD put in, select a track and pushes command key F6 what files do you get?

NOW I got it  Use comporessed - then it's compressing to FLAC after WAV. Great!
Thanks for good and QUICK help!

But still there are some more questons:
I add these command line options:

Quote
-6 -V -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%g" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%n" -T "genre=%m" -T comment="%e" -T "comment=EAC (Secure Mode)" %s

This is the filename I get. And its most of the informaton, but I want the Pink Floyd Catalog (if its not there) automatically to be created. It doesn't.
I also want the Album Catalogue to be created. It doesn't

Quote
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here [Gold Edition] - 01 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Part 1-5.flac

What do I use as command line options to make these to catalogues automatically created?
Thanks

This is so great forum  And my Squeezebox is incredible

The options for output filenames are actually in EAC....assuming you're not in beginners mode then go to EAC->EAC options, Filename tab...you can then create whatever output filename you like using the options it gives

For example mine is:

%D\%C\%N - %A - %T

which puts each artist in a directory with it's albums underneath it and the tracks underneath that

...and yes Squeezebox + FLAC = awesome
