The thumbs up and thumbs down buttons run masstagger scripts that increase and decrease the rating.
The stars are just displayed by a text display box.

Heres mine, Facets + Text Display:

Lyrics:

EDIT: Also, Pretty Popup and Luceo's icon:

How'd you get the lyrics working?  If you used Dockable Panels, how do the lyrics only display when you click the tab?  Thanks!

Lyrics are show with foo_textdisplay, using the following config (right-click > settings):

Code: [Select]
%artist% - %title%$crlf()

$crlf()
$if(%lyrics%,%lyrics%,No lyrics)

Using %lyrics% tag provided by Lyrics Grabber

Here's my updated config btw, now with artist.jpg (hooray!)

foobar > *

One request that future posters include a link to the fth or config file with a screen. Thanks!

$ifgreater(%rating%,2,?,?)$crlf()
$ifgreater(%rating%,3,?,?)$crlf()

I have yet to seen someone show config that..

- Not a minimalist config, I want to see configs that at least have all of these and does NOT hide in Tabs : Album art view, Any type of Vis that are not embedded in toolbar, Album list or (more preferably) Facet with 3 or more columns, Playlist view.
- Densely pack yet easily readable, any text (Title, Album name, etc) show in anywhere should not clipped and show ellipsis for most of the times.
- Rectangle shape, and not tall.
- and the most important, NOT huge! foobar size should have height no more than 550 pixels.

I find it difficult to design such layout that still look neat, foobar DUI need a lot of spaces to use efficiently IMO. I did have my own layout but so far after a lot of time and tinkering, I came up with only 1 layout which I currently using.

I need some more ideas.. Anyone?

Hey, your album art is of low quality, and in which resolution do you run windows?

I run windows in 1680*1050.
And some of my album art are not so good indeed, I have some 300*300 and other in 500*500.

As I remember you said that you'll switch to CUI wink.gif

Well OK, I meant it's not 32bit, it looks like it's run in some compatibility mode, but nevermind
I think everyone can enjoy CUI as DUI or vice versa, and that's all same lovely foobar but with different details

[edit] this silly posts refers to this image

Well, I don't really undestand what looks like it's run in compatibility mode ? The album art ? Foobar2000 ? Could you explain ?
Aero was disable on the capture... Here another capture: [a href="http://img194.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sanstitredgx.png" target="_blank"]

You probably used "windows basic theme", which also appears when some program changes the display mode or you are running in compatibility mode

In you second screenshot this isn't the case

shakey_snake,

a beautiful desktop wallpaper you have, I love such themes.

I see a playlist named "Needs Tagged" in your foobar screenshot.

Is it an auto playlist and would you share the code for it?

Robertina.
This is HA. Not the Jerry Springer Show.

Right-click the "New Music" branch in your album list when viewing "by folder structure".

It's just a sub-folder I use as a staging area. Not everything needs some complicated formula.

I recently got a 22" LCD monitor, which has been an awesome change from my hulking 19" CRT beast.

Click thumbnail:

This is pretty sweet, can you share?
