The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main St.

The Who - Quadrophenia.

The Beatles - The Beatles ( 1968 ).

Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland.

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti.

Yes, i am a double album freak.

I go through this exercise every few years.  But the top 5 albums haven't change in a looooong time.

1) Meat Loaf:  Bat Out Of Hell
2) Jethro Tull: Thick As A Brick
3) Billy Joel: The Stranger
4) Queen: A Night At The Opera
5) Janis Ian: Between The Lines

Since everyone else seems to want to go beyond their top 5 I'll make this single modification - If it's Christmas season I could almost live with having a single album, and that would be:

1) Radiohead - Kid A
2) Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun
3) Nick Drake - Pink Moon
4) The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
5) Autechre - Incunabula

They were pretty hard to pick, and the 3rd 4th and 5th ones change infrequently.
