new behavior for file deletions from playlist?

I've recently noticed that, when I delete a file (not remove from list, but actual file deletion/trashing) that is playing, instead of loading the file that was to be next in the natural order, as was normal until now, instead the first entry in the playlist is played now.

Is this the new intended behavior, a bug, or did I inadvertently touch something?

If there's a manual queue override, it will obey that, but, in it's absence, it goes to the first entry in the playlist, which I don't remember ever happening before.

Unwanted behavior confirmed, thanks for reporting.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.

Sure, and thank you for the player :)

Before I posted, I didn't think of trying to just remove the playing item from the list, as I was deleting unwanted tracks, not making a playlist.
Surely you've already noticed that the bug also happens with regular removals from the playlist: When the removed track finishes playing, foobar will continue playing from the top of the playlist. So it's not file deletion that causes the problem after all.
