v1.3.4 decodes a file differently than v1.3.2

Using the following command:
flac.exe -d track.flac -o track.wav
I get different results between v1.3.4 and v1.3.2 for a particular track.

I noticed this because MasVis does not like the output from v1.3.4, but is fine with the output from v1.3.2.

My .flac files are from CD rips, and it doesn't happen with all tracks.

Hunch: 24-bit, HDCD decoded? Then flac 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 will use the WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE version of the .wav format.
