only burst mode worked to rip scratched cdr/promo, eac error, what can I do?

I have always used secure/accurate modes to rip all my cds lossless for my archive/collection and never had any problems. But recently I got a couple of scratched cd/cdr promos that caused eac to freeze and then would not eject from my disk drive after exiting eac. I was finally able to burn them using burst mode, and eac did report a single error in each problem disc after ripping. Thankfully when I play back the ripped files I cannot hear any problems at all. In the past I've noticed almost all of my promo/cdr are never in AccurateRip database. Is there anything to compare my rips to, to confirm they were ripped 100% accurately using burst mode? Is there anything else I can try to get 100% perfect rips of the scratched promo cd/cdr?

You didn't provide an extraction log. Did you use Test & Copy with burst mode?

Secure mode (without C2) reads each section at least twice and compares.
Test & Copy with burst mode would read twice and provide info in the extraction log (CRC32) you can compare.
Consistent errors are possible but at least you would know if the data being read is consistent.

If you have access to a different drive, try that.
I'd try CUERipper too.

Not because this is better than that, but because more chances.

I've had those problem cd's, Basically I'll do burst+test+copy.  If CRC wont match after several rips I listen for flaws. If can't hear defects I leave it as is.
