Title: ABX testing on Mac osx machine
Post by: dknightd on 2004-07-01 22:44:22
I want to try some ABX testing on my Mac osX machine. Perhaps I'm stupid, but I couldn't
seem to find one that works.

I read the abx faq at http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....howtopic=16295& (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=16295&)

I tried the ABX2go applet but couldn't get it to load my samples.
The ABR/HR java program link seems to be broken.

Is there a abx comparison program avialable for us Mac users?

Thanks
David

The PCAbx website (http://www.pcabx.com/) has a link to MacABX, but you have to run it through classic. I don't know of an OS X native ABX client.

You can get ABC/HR Java at RareWares:
http://www.rarewares.org/others.html (http://www.rarewares.org/others.html)

You can also get "MacABX" here:
http://www.airwindows.com/dithering/index.html (http://www.airwindows.com/dithering/index.html)

Thanks. I think ABC/HR will work for me.
