cue file will not stay in FLAC

[FB 1.6.2]

I'm trying to set up a FLAC file album image to convert to individual tracks. For some reason, I can't get the cue sheet to stay in the file.

From years back I recall there is some way to do this, where you strip the ID3 tags and then load the cue, but that isn't working.
