General - (fb2k) / Editing Metadata after creating Cuesheet.
Last post by Le Croissant -
I hate editing tracks in EAC so I just rip the CD with whatever metadata the inbuilt provider generates (even if there is none).
Then I edit the album in Mp3tag and fill in all of my mucho autismo detailed tags.
And I don't mind the EAC logfile displaying the wrong name, because I can just go by track number.

I'm guessing all of the Cuesheets are worthless after editing the metadata?
If so how can I generate New Cuesheets with the correct tags?
AAC / An AAC decoder with detailed structure output?
Last post by greg f -
I'm looking for an AAC decoder that produces extremely verbose output down to each field of one or more bits in each frame's structure. While I'm sure tools that can do this exist, I don't know of any, or if any are available to the public. Can anybody point me in the right direction? The tool doesn't have to be open-source or free. I'm interested in considering any options.

Thanks in advance!

When applying replaygain you are altering the volume of the source when it's being encoded to the output format.

Under the other menu there is an option to replaygain-scan output files as albums or transfer replaygain info which will keep the file volume the same as the source but write the replaygain info in to the tags.

The Hydrogenaudio Wiki Foobar2000:Converter page states:

Select the relevant ReplayGain settings to apply to the converted content. This will permanently apply the change to the output file.
Apply the effects of any available DSPs to the converted content. Again, this will permanently apply the change to the output file.

Can anyone confirm the Wiki quote about RG is incorrect or what am I missing?

Use Room EQ to measure the frequency response of your room with a few different settings of your sub. Compare the resultant "unprocessed" frequency responses. The best setting of your sub corresponds to the flatter "unprocessed" frequency response.

I assume you're using the sacd iso component. In that case, check the settings and select "DSD + PCM" output mode.
This will output DSD (if your hardware supports it) but also enable visualizations as if it was PCM.

your Multi-source lyrics works perfectly and LSP3 is Ok.
Please continue to support it. Thank you for your work.

foo_openlyrics still needs some development today. I am following this project with interest, but I am not ready to replace LSP3 yet.
