@veksha again, thanks for the version v0.52 ! :-)

why they did not respond? how can we investigate this? what connection quality do you have? are you using proxy/vpn? in what country do you live?

Indeed, I'm in a country where internet connection is maybe the lamest in the world (I'm in Lebanon and believe me, internet is the the least of our problems... can you imagine that there is no electricity for 15+ hours a day, and we must generate our own electricity?)

Thanks for the explanation for Netease. I've put it last in the list so the search is smoother.

Now everything works fine, and the musixmatch token is taken completely, thanks for the fix :-)

I'm doing some tests now to investigate. But all the server IPs that foobar tries to access respond to ping in a short delay....
I suspect it can be related to secure/unsecure connection (https vs http)...

Edit: it appears that LyricShow does not use the proxy setting of Foobar>Preferences>Networking...
Yes it has its own setting in the old "OnlineDB" sources, so there is no way to test or use a vpn with the new sources apparently...
@veksha how is it implemented in the new sources? will it use system vpn setting ?

I can execute the batch as is in a separate tree node, remove it from the node with the query, and refresh the query just fine. It is just when that query and batch are in the same node that there is a crash on the refresh. In that case, I can click on the node and send every track to a playlist or to the SQL console, but a refresh crashes with either action selected.
Ok, I found the root cause of the problem and it is already fixed for the next version. However the same as mentioned already for foo_sqlite applies also here, that the release will need some time due to some substantial internal changes for foo_sqlite and also for foo_uie_sql_tree.

The problem in this case is that the batch part is returning a result due to the select. For the time being you can therefore change the batch like this
Code: [Select]
SELECT eval(readfile('sql/tree_albumartist.sql')) WHERE 1=2
as a workaround.

One last thing is it possible to query all tags.
No, you always need to explicitely specify the wanted columns in the where clause, e.g. for artist and title:
Code: [Select]
SELECT *
FROM MediaLibrary
WHERE 1 IN (regexp_search('^\s+|\s+$|\s{2,}',artist),regexp_search('^\s+|\s+$|\s{2,}',title))
You don't need the lookahead in the regular expression here and you could put the regular expression into an own table to not repeat the expression literally for each column.

CD Hardware/Software / EAC not detecting CTDB Plugin / Unable to Detect as Metadata Provider
Last post by Sleeplifter -
Hi guys, I'm trying to get my copy of EAC to detect the CueTools Database Plugin, but it's only seeing the freedb option in Metadata Providers. It's also not comparing against the CueTools Database within the log file.

I'm running the latest version of EAC (1.6), which includes CueTools 2.1.6. I ticked the option to include that installation component, and made sure to double check the files were in the installation folder.

I also grabbed the files from here and tried replacing them, no dice: http://www.cuetools.net/install/CUETools.CTDB.EACPlugin.2.1.6.zip

My computer is running Windows XP SP3. My CD Drive is an ASUS - CRW-5232AS at FW1.03. I've installed .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (which includes 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2), and have installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update.

Having both the above installations should mean I meet the prerequisites to run CueTools and allow the plugin to run.

I had a look at past threads and found the following: https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php?topic=107449.0

I've tried reinstalling EAC as well per the above thread, which did not solve the issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, cheers guys!

@veksha:  thanks for the timeout increase to 15 sec. on version .52, very preliminary testing shows good results from all sources in use (I don't use Netease), the multiple lyrics from same source working well (esp. with metallum and songlyrics).

Did notice:  songlyrics is back to returning "We do not have the lyrics for (song) yet" for non-hits;  I think you were able to suppress this in earlier versions??
