Hi marc2k3. Thank you very much for your help. Everything works perfectly according to your instructions. I found out how little I know about the app. FB2k is really a very extensive application. And so I get to know its parts step by step. I enjoy it and I enjoy the gradual steps.
I have one more question. I have multiple songs in the queue. When I play a song that is not in the queue, my queue is deleted. How can this be prevented? After many attempts I couldn't find a solution. Thanks for the further advice. Joseph

I know but the circumstances are not entirely the same.

Then I needed the single instance of a playback component talking to its partner-panel. Now I need to notify potentially multiple instances of a UI panel.

Thx anyway, I look at your solution again.

Without using "exhale channel remap", the error still exists.
The original multi-channel music file comes from https://samples.ffmpeg.org/, and foobar2000 plays it normally without any problems.

No worries. That was about 5 years ago I mapped my keyboard shortcuts when I moved to foobar2000 and there's been no issues so far.

It seems to work for some, doesn't work for some. That's probably good enough if you're an enthusiast that haven't gone over to an actually maintained and solid one like Case's.
I can't with good conscience release this for all users, it would not be a responsible thing to do with the lack of time I have these days.

So you completely missed this prompt when assigning keys without modifiers?

edit: I'm guessing other components work through using proper edit controls as a child window. My component doesn't support that and it's not likely to either.

John is right, Case's Exhale Channel Remap isn't required with the new version from today. Please don't use it anymore.

If the error still occurs when you don't use the channel remapping DSP, then please post the original input WAV file since it seems to have an unexpected channel map.

Is there a way to enumerate all the instances of an uielement?

I'd like to post a message to each instance when a particular parameter changes in the preferences page.

Notice
