[Feature Request] File operations + Convert Hybrid

I'm in the middle of a large scale conversion/copy of my library from my backup drive to my working drive and I have found myself strongly wishing for a feature that (AFAIK) foobar2000 still lacks.
Since my collection consists of a mixture of lossy and lossless formats and I just want lossy copies on my working drive, I need to convert the lossless tracks while just copying the lossy files intact. This could be easily done by sorting the files by format and only choosing the lossless ones for conversion into the new location; however, this approach breaks down if I would like the accompanying album art in the folder copied too, since conversion currently only deals with the audio. Therefore, what I would really love to see in foobar2000 is a hybrid option that combines the ability of the current File Operations module to move/copy/rename files + any folder contents, with the option of converting file formats or, even better, of conditionally converting file formats.
With more and more people opting for external lossless archival, I think such a feature would be a very welcome addition to the vast array of abilities of foobar2000. Or am I alone here...?

To convert your backup from lossless to lossy format is pretty dangerous. When your backup drive fails, you have only files with lossy format left. This is a bad way to save hard drive space.

I came to make a feature request, not to have my decisions questioned. I can't afford to have a lossless copy on my working drive plus it doesn't make sense to me, since I don't want to be constantly converting everytime I want something on my iPod. Additionally, in the unlikely event that my off-line backup drive failed before I upgrade, I have a second drive with all the essential stuff.
