Hi guys, this is my current config:

But I need some help: how can I change the window colors?
I know I can make a buttons panel with WSH (in fact the volume control is WSH), but I want to paint blue the scroll bars, columns headers, dropdown boxes, and the line between panels...
Is this possible?

Those elements are dependent on your operating system theme; therefore, under normal circumstances, you can't change those things.
However, if you run your foobar2000 installation contained in a portable sandbox and configure the sandbox to be fully isolated from your real system
then you can possibly change these things without touching your real system.
Do a Google search for a free software named JauntePE and see what it can do for you...

How did you split window like that? I want to do the same, so I can have space for album artwork, lyrics, bio etc... This is stupid question, I'm a beginner at this, so basic help you be nice.
Or how can I make tabbed columns?

Example
http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs47/f/2009/236...amofsandman.png

Bottom right, are small button that have tabbing ability, in one tab is Playlists, other libary, third lyrics, 4th bio etc... how can I make it? And what's the plugin for making playlist organized like this by albums?

I know, so many questions.... : (

I'm using ColumnsUI, if you go to Preferences -> Display -> Columns UI -> [TAB] Layout you will see a tree structure where you can group different splitters.
My config is:

Horizontal splitter
---Vertical splitter
------Horizontal splitter
---------Buttons
---------Playback order
---------WSH Panel Mod (for volume)
------EsPlaylist
---Vertical splitter
------Waveform seekbar
------Horizontal splitter
---------Vertical splitter
------------Biography (for album art)
------------Biography (for artist info)
---------Lyric Show 3
---Vertical splitter
------Channel spectrum panel
------Spectrum analizer

Also I use [a banned component] to [circumvent compliance with the Windows UI]

What are differences between deffault splitters and Panel Stack Splitters? And what's the component for artist biography, I can't seem to find it.

@db1989: banned component? that means it can be harmful? should I delete it?

@corey: not sure about panel stack, but I think it's like a tab panel...
and about biography, is this one:
foo_uie_biography
Biography View 0.4.0.3

This is an experimental plugin, use at your own risk

Hi,

I'd wish to make tabs for the artwork view for Front, Back, Media covers as seen in the pic from this post:
http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....st&p=793905

But it's done with the default UI, so is it possible to do the same with Columns UI ? And if so, how to do it ? I'm quite new to foobar and not good at customization, I've searched but I didn't find out how to do it. Thanks

assuming you have an artwork panel already in your layout, goto file>preferences>display>columns UI>layout tab. using the right click menu, remove the artwork panel. now right click the splitter it was sitting in and add a tab stack. add to that as many artwork panels as you need. use the use custom title option on each panel and that will become the title of the tab. make sure you untick show caption for each panel as well.

Thanks a lot, with your great help I managed to do it
There is one annoyance though: each time I click on a tab (Front, Back, etc) the title on the playlist becomes unselected-out of focus thus the artwork view appears empty and I have to click on the title again for making the covers to show up.
Is there any workaround for this so I can switch between tabs without the need the click back on the title each time ?

right click the panel>displayed track and try the options there.

Unfortunatly the link in this post doesn't work anymore. Can anybody please repost this or tell me if I can find this skin (or another nice turntable skin) elswhere?

New version of fooxgen3 released

Interesting, but I cannot get it to work.
After it loads I get a "Aw, crashed " message below the album art, and I can't see the playlist or the tabs.
Console says:
Error: WSH Panel Mod ({05B803E5-E660-4D82-9F7F-4635DEA32226}): Microsoft JScript runtime error:
Invalid procedure call or argument
File: <main>
Ln: 28, Col: 1

Do you know what am I missing?

A picture can be helpful ^^.

If you have like the picture and only a crash, click on the big down arrow button: add an album and restart foobar.

Otherwise the installation is not good
