Support - (fb2k) / Configuring the window resizing behavior on the toolbar items
Last post by tn1 -
I'm not sure how to coherently express this question, so please bear with me.

When I horizontally resize the foobar window, the toolbar expands with it. All items stay the same width, except one, which expands to accommodate the new width.

For example:

and resizing yields:

But I want to set the seekbar as the one that consumes the extra width, keeping the other items the same, not the VU meter.
If I remove the VU meter, then the order box becomes the one to absorb the extra width (not the volume slider as I initially expected).

Is this possible?

FLAC / Re: New FLAC compression improvement
Last post by Wombat -
Very interesting stuff but even with a 5900x this is a hard nut.
flac-native -9 indeed compresses the albums i tried better as CUEtools flake -8 while this is slightly better on average as flac -8 ep.
The speed is to slow for my taste to consider it for use in my workflows but it is a very nice idea.
Many thanks for the effort and the working version :)

General - (fb2k) / Re: wav 32bit fixed-point to FLAC
Last post by Porcus -
There is of course one reason to "support" it, and that is not to break the "lossless is lossless" maxime.

But for that purpose, refusing to do the worst oddballs and throwing an error box for this thing - that is just fine. The box could of course as a service to users have identified the 32-bit integer and said "Try WavPack from the command line." And given that it identifies 32-bit integer, the box could very well also have said "(And tell whoever created this to use a less stupid format.)" At least beta versions users should be fine with such insults.
