Hey there quick question (although Idk if there's really a quick answer): is it possible to replace some of the fields shown in text view with my own tags of the now playing song? For example I have my own Style tags derived from Rateyourmusic and Description tags from there as well. Example of what I'm talking about:

Is there a way to choose where in the DSP chain the analysis happens? I would love to have the analysis happen before application  of any DSPs in the chain as a configurable behavior.
Not that I know of, but hey it WOULD be neat to have a "before/after DSP chain applied" image toggle--interesting (and scary?) to see how much the signal has been changed from the original input.

I have an updated old version here with latest bug fixes for windows 7 users.

So I completely messed this up and while backporting fixes, I accidentally included code that requires fb2k 2.0. That means any of the library viewer/playlist viewers that use EvalWithMetadbs will have crashed on 1.6.x. I can only apologise for my stupidity.

I actually tested this first to make sure... :o

3.4.32 for windows 7/8/8.1 / fb2k 1.6.6 -1.6.18 compatibility

edit: to be clear, only 3.4.31 released yesterday was affected by this

CD Hardware/Software / Re: Powering external disc drive

You should be OK with that, presuming this "power" socket is a mini-USB type B.  Power only flows out of a type A and into a type B.  This article explains.

Without the dedicated power inlet, the alternative would be to run the drive via a powered USB hub.

The external optical drives I have work fine running from the laptop power only, but they don't have a separate power socket so I guess yours might not be specified for running off a USB port (0.5A max).
