channel mixer vor spdif ?

Hi,
does someone know a method to manipulate the pcm-stream from spdif-out?
I'm searching a way to convert the stereo pcm signal into a 5.1 signal, with the ability to map or move stereo to speakers I want. E.g. input stereo -> output rear-speakers only
