3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: foo_skip: skip tracks that match a specified search query
Last post by CapHCapH -So what I set already isn't enough to get each playing file jump in time?
Specific tags are needed?
Can you give a specific example how to achieve a jump in time in just one mp3 file?
What should I setup, where and how.
Thanks.

Last post by Case -Tags are changed by opening properties of the track. Fields are the text labels on the left, like Artist, Title, Album... For partial skipping a track needs a field called Skip with timestamped data of parts that one wants to skip.

Last post by CapHCapH -Right clicking it gives 'about' and 'remove' so I guess it's enabled.
I do have 'Skip tracks and use bookmarks' checked under 'Playback' option.
You say the syntax is correct, just putting "SKIP=-00:01:00" w/o the apostrophes
in Preferences->Tools->Skip Track in "Skip track query" field.
So everything seems correct but skipping is still not happening ):

Last post by Case -Check that the component is enabled. Open the 'Playback' secion of the main menu and verify that there's a checkmark next to the 'Skip tracks & use bookmarks' entry.

Support - (fb2k) / Re: Foobar2000 v2.* playback sound quality lower than v1.X
Last post by Case -I see no signs of playback issues, the samples have retained perfect time alignment and only differ slightly in amplitude. Which is expected since there are two analog-digital conversions with two different devices involved. I'd bet there would be identical differences visible simply by recording the same piece with the exact same setup again.
With the fist track the record timings didn't align as closely between the players as hugely boosted inverse mix allows hearing some music. With the second track sample alignment happened to get very close - inverse mix spectrum even shows moire patterns.

Last post by CapHCapH -Many thanks for this component
For some reason I can't use it to skip to a specific time in a track when it starts playing.
I put: SKIP=-00:01:00 if I want it to jump to the one minute mark, right? Have I got the syntax wrong?
