Title: Where does IMGBurn put an ISO it creates?
Post by: teh roxxors on 2019-04-12 12:08:56
I almost never do this, so I'm at a loss:

I just had IMGBurn read an audio disc and create an image. Now, I have no idea where that image is, and can't burn it. I looked in My Documents and Program Files (x86), and have found nothing.

I am on Windows 7, if it matters.

Can anyone help me out?

You could check the log
%AppData%\ImgBurn\Log Files\ImgBurn.log

With the default settings (if you don't specify a location) the file should be in the documents folder.
If you specified a location that required elevated permissions you could look in
%localappdata%\virtualstore

There's a "Destination" box below the box that shows the original files.

You could also search your hard drive for *.ISO.

There was a destination box, which pointed me to the file location. I would not have found it without your help. I've only used IMGBurn to create an image file once before, and was at a loss. It ended up being on an external USB hard drive I only use for archival purposes.
