I would like to avoid having CueRipper CD rips going to any directory containing the username registered on a system since it will be saved on the log file, and perhaps to a flash drive, SD card, or external HDD.
Is there any way to do so? I checked the settings application in AppData but I don't know what template to use to get it to change the directory.
You can edit the template in CUERipper by first clicking on the line.
In http://cue.tools/wiki/File:CUERipper215.png you'll notice the path starts in F:\music
All I did was replace %music% with F:\music in the template
CUERipper will save the new template to the settings file on exit.
I should probably add an example on http://cue.tools/wiki/CUETools_Templates

Thanks, this helps a lot.

I tried that and it did not work.

I got a better solution....just add a browse button so we can choose where it goes ourselves. I love CueTools, just trying CUERipper but it is not going to work for me if I have to jump through hoops to get my music where I want it. I have a very organized collection....my way, not the way someone else or Windows chooses and I would like to be able to insert RIPS where I want them in my collection and not move them afterwards.
Thanks for great software....I could not live without CUETools.

Replacing
%music% (C:\Users\
YourUserName\music) in one on the supplied templates with
system_drive_letter :\
YourFolder does work.
Perhaps you tried something different.
