If I try to reload the panel, it happens again, it takes 1-2 minutes. Everything was fine before updating. The other error is for Playlist tools, I'll post there.

Without any more info, can't say anything. It seems like you have some kind of circular reference between some smart playlists.

There is something wrong on your installation. That's simply impossible.

EDIT: This is what happens when someone doesn't read the changelog..

I follow Semantic Versioning, so if you go from 3.7 (or lower) to 4.X... and people don't read the changelog, then it's a miracle things work as they should be. xd Since I'm stating some things have been removed or changed in a major version change.

Because there are very few people on this planet reading this forum and knowing how a certain 40-year-old codec works.

Short answer: in audio and speech coding, logarithmic quantizers usually fit the (residual) audio data better than linear quantizers - many small values, few large values. You simply get better perofrmance.

Some of these links no longer work anymore. Kamedo2 gave me some of the samples and I just made a torrent out of the files I was able to obtain again. @Case Codec's are not only required for high-performance computers, they are also required for tiny microcontroller's and etc.. Using a modern codec like MP3 can be very hard or impossible with these tiny MCU's and etc.. So, ADPCM is still required for some low processing power tasks. I'm asking this because i want to use ADPCM with Arduino. Anyway, thanks for recommendation.
