i just tryed MPxchange out for the first time with some REX albums. Every track i transcode sounds aight but they all end with an anoying "pop" 

any ideas why?

Some time ago I had the same problem. which versions of MPPDec and Lame do you use? Now with lame 3.90.3 and mppdec 1.12 i have not noticed these problems again.

im not sure.. im using the ones that came with it
when i tryed to use another version it wouldnt work but ill try again

tryed mppdec 1.95 and lame 3.90.3  and it fails

just tryed MPC2MP3 and its failing to

write error: invalid argument

maybe you should post the parameters you are using.
For MPPDec 1.12 I use : --prev --gain 3
For LAME I Use: --alt-preset 128

Hi, I tried to use MPC2MP3, but I have the write error (invalid argument).

I then tried to use command lines :

c:\program files\mppdec\mppdec.exe" --prev --gain 3 *.mpc | "c:\program files\lame\lame.exe" --alt-preset 128

Same error... 
I use MPC93j and LAME 3.92.
Any ideas ?

Just for info, the MPC only works well it decodes my MPC on the standard output

I found another way cause it was *urgent*.
I used dBpowerAMP with the audio power pack.
It works great.
