Qicktime Audio Decode/Transcode

Does anyone know how to decode Quicktime audio (*.mov) on a PC?  The file I was given is audio only,  no video.  Any help would be qreatly appreciated.

This should work:
* Open the .mov in QuickTime Player
* Click 'Window - Show Movie Properties'
* Select the sound track and click 'Extract'
* Click 'File - Save As...'

Perhaps I'm running a different Quicktime player on my PC than you are.  I found 'Window - Show Movie Info'  Beyond that there was no way to select soundtrack, extract, or save as....

Use VLC or MPlayer.  Should work fine unless it's QDM2.

Drag the .mov file into iTunes and then use advanced: Convert selection to AAC (or MP3 or whatever you have selected)

Actually qdm2 too, lavc has now qdm2 decoder.

You need QT Pro for that

It does, but there are reportedly some bugs (audio fidelity issues).

If it doesn't work, and the file is available online somewhere, you could submit a bug report to the ffmpeg list.
