That makes me think that if a request has become useless because of another plugin, please say it, I don't know all the plugins so I can't really tell.

I think the foo_out_dsound_ex2 request has become obsolete, as foobar2000 0.9.2 makes the fading options of foo_out_dsound_ex2 available on the Preferences -> Advanced window.

Also I think foo_input_monkey has been updated on 05.06.06 and there's no word about stability issues on the optional components page anymore.
Nothing is impossible if you don't need to do it yourself.

Not useless, but as an alternative for foo_dynamics I now use foo_vlevel (when I need dynamics compression). It works differently, but great for my needs. (already in your updated list)

Thanks for the heads up, it's version 2.1 now. A pity no version numbers or last update dates are mentioned on that page.
Now if someone would care to port foo_dsp_skip_silence from case, that will skip long silent parts ..

I see that foo_out_dsound_ex2 has been taken off the list now.  the fading options in 0.9.2 still dont match what foo_out_dsound_ex2.  foo_out_dsound_ex2 also allowed the user to adjust the fade curve and the fade in curve.  Whilst I would still like foo_out_dsound_ex2 ported, I think Foobar 0.9.x will catch up, but its not quite there yet.

Boy, I'd also love to see skip_silence.  That one is super handy for me.

When I burn a CD, I can eliminate the pre-track gaps, which sometimes means the difference between the burn succeeding and failing.  It's also handy for listening to music or CDs with weird long gaps and silence.  I wouldn't think it'd be too difficult to port.  Is that one open source?

I haven't seen any mention of foo_dsp_surr.dll. It provides features such as a phase inverter that can be quite usefull.

Me too, me too. Though I used it in combination with foo_dsp_continuator. Crossfading silence into another track doesn't sound so good.

foo_winamp_wrapper is mentionned in the list. In Foobar 0.8.3, the wrapper I used was foo_winamp_input.dll. If it is a different component, could it be added to the list ?
I know devs have filed it under "Known potential troublemakers" but I found it very useful to use the MIDI abilities of my sound card...

Hello. it's my first post on forums, so Hello World!

Plugin suggested by me to port is "Spatial 3D DSP" (foo_dsp_Spatial3D.dll):
-bandwidth extneder (nice working frequency reconstruction)
-harmonic booster
-echo
-extra stereo

Especially the first two functions are nice for low bitrate mp3s (<16kHz cutoff). I can't find any homepage for this plugin, so I'm still using Foobar 0.8.3, because i listen alot of radio stations, so 128kbps is the standard.

May I suggest the Minimal View Plugin (foo_minview.dll)? It adds a small (and customizable, with... a hex editor ) bar with the main playback buttons which remains on-top even when Foobar is minimized. Very handy.
